Created in 1964, the Employee Stock Purchase Plan was the original financial worker benefit in the US..But over time, due to shrinking real wages and different benefits taking the forefront, most employees have found it difficult to participate, leaving them out of the good fortunes of their companies and increasing the gap between employee ranks. But if we could increase participation as we rebuild, could we align all the stakeholders in a company and create an economy where so many don't live on the edge? We spoke to Aaron Shapiro, Founder at Carver Edison, who has found a tech solution that might be able to restore the use of ESPP.
