Jason Thompson is currently the CEO of OVO, leading Indonesia’s leading payments platform. He is responsible to oversee the business expansion, strategic partnerships and product development at OVO, and lead OVO to drive financial inclusion deeper and serve 260M Indonesians.

Since its inception in 2017, OVO has become the #1 digital payments platform, growing its user base over 400% in 2018 and onboarding over 500,000 merchants from modern retail merchants to SMEs. Jason is set to lead OVO and provide equal economy access to South East Asia’s most populated nation.

Prior to joining OVO, Jason was the Head of GrabPay. In this role, Jason led the development of new payment technologies to deepen financial inclusion and increase access to mobile payments services across Southeast Asia.
